Amare to Chicago? - Involves drafting of Noah

I e-mailed him this morning to ask why the Bulls drafted Noah and this is what he said:

They (the Bulls) were on the fence between Noah and Hawes. They then got a call exactly at that time from the Suns to draft for them and the Suns told them to draft Noah.

The Suns want KG - MN has to trade him – The Bulls have become a willing conduit to make that happen

The trade looks like this:

Chicago gets Stoudemire

Minny gets Noah, Gordon, Tyrus Thomas or a re-signed Nocioni, Marcus Banks, and Atlanta’s unprotected # 1 in ’08

Pho gets KG

Take that however you please, just not too heavily. If it does happen, Good Golly Miss Molly.

:man13:

Amare for essentially Gordon, Thomas, Nocioni and Noah. Keep Deng, keep Hinirch, keep Ben.

Kinda sucks giving up both Noah and TT just b/c they both provide similar things and TT was big for us last year. But hey....we get Amare? :man1: I doubt it happens but it sounds good. Wait...I just realized Phoenix would get KG. :bang: :bang:

I still think getting Garnett in return for Amare is the worst move for the Suns since dealing J-Kidd.

I don't know. If you keep Amare he may be a Garnett caliber player in 3-4 years. Nash will be well passed 35 and Marion will be 31-32.
