Former Magic and Pistons point guard Carlos Arroyo is close to signing a one-year, $1 million deal to join the Bulls, the Puerto Rican newspaper El Nuevo Dia reported Saturday.

There was a report over the weekend that free agent point guard Carlos Arroyo is going to sign with the Chicago Bulls. However, according to the Daily Herald, such a plan has never even been discussed.
Mike McGraw writes that adding Arroyo wouldn't make much sense because the Bulls already have Kirk Hinrich, Jannero Pargo and Lindsey Hunter to fill in for Derrick Rose at point guard.
McGraw: Bulls not chasing Arroyo
The Bulls are not angling to sign former NBA point guard Carlos Arroyo. A rumor that Arroyo was about to sign a one-year deal with the Bulls appeared in Puerto Rico’s El Nuevo Dia this weekend. But such a plan has never even been discussed.
I think that McGraw is right. Because the Bulls have Hinrich, Pargo, Hunter to come in for Rose. So I don't see Arroyo coming to the Bulls. Only if the Bulls have other plans with Hinrich or Hunter.
