Here are some of the off-season moves I think the Bulls will need to seriously contend for a championship in the future.
1. Trade 9th pick, sign and trades with PJ Brown and Andres Nocioni to Portland for Zach Randolph. I understand he is a lot to handle off the court, but all championship teams take risks on players. The Bull's championship teams of the 90's took a risk on Dennis Rodman. And its not like there isn't a high reward. Randolph had a spectacular season and was robbed of an all-star game selection. Averages of 24 points, 10 rebounds, 82 FG % are terrific. Did I mention he's only 26? That gives at least 4-5 more good years.
2. Offer Scott Skiles the lead assistant coach position and hire Larry Brown, because if we do get to the finals I don't want us to have a young inexperienced coach like Mike Brown who can't draw up a decent play for his best player.
3. Demand that Thabo Sefolasha and Tyrus Thomas work on their games in the offseason.
4. Trade 46th and 51st pick, Chris Duhon to Miami for 20th pick and draft best available big man out of Tiago Splitter, Josh McRobers and Jason Smith.
