Chicago Bulls now have full roster.
Signed Gardner to a not guaranteed contract.
Skiles delivered the news to Gardner after practice Wednesday.
''The first person I called was my mom,'' Gardner said. ''She's been there since third-grade basketball. I can count on one hand how many games my mom missed from elementary to college. They live in Oregon, and I [went to college] at Missouri. She sacrificed having a job to come to Missouri to watch me play. So she deserves to hear it first.''
Gardner is aware his contract is not guaranteed and things can change quickly in the NBA.
''It's a great feeling, but I can't stop,'' he said. ''I've got to keep pushing every day. I've got to keep working my butt off in practice and in the games, and when I get a chance, go out and play well.''
