Bulls waives Johnson III and Nelson

July 30, 2009 - The Chicago Bulls announced today that the team has waived forward Linton Johnson III and guard DeMarcus Nelson.

Roster now stands at 13.

What was the thing with Nelson? Bulls signed him in April for the remainder season, but he doesn't played at all. Perhaps the Bulls expected him a better player?

No loss for Bulls here.

Bulls had their look at those guys and didn't see them fitting in. Bulls gave them a chance anyway.

That is right.

I liked Johnson as a bench end player. Never know much about Nelson.
