Daily Herald: Bulls have issues, but no disaster

There have been some brutal moments this season, no doubt. But overall, I'm surprised Reinsdorf was so negative during an appearance on “Monsters In The Morning.”

The Bulls showed plenty of life early this season and sported a 13-14 record after beating Utah on Dec. 20. That's when they hit a slump, which was right around the time they had all three captains – Kirk Hinrich, Luol Deng and Drew Gooden – out with injuries.
Rose: "I want to be that guy. I want to be the reason why the Bulls are back to what they were [during the Michael Jordan era]."

I can understand why Reinsdorf was so negative, I mean, this team was falling well below expectations, but I don't know if anyone ever really called it a disaster, although the situation was looking very grim for a little while.
