It's been about 48 hours since the "Bull" session the other day, and something still smells funny. The little gathering to thank Vinny Del Negro for his wonderful two years of service was, to put it mildly, a bunch of bull----.

I understand it takes a little time to rebuild, especially when you lose arguably the greatest coach and player at the same time, but for a storied franchise like the Bulls to be mentioned in the same breath as the Clippers, Grizzlies and Warriors ... that's pitiful!
In the 12 years since Jordan left, they have won ONE playoff series and have had ONE all-star--Derrick Rose last season.
Consider that the Bulls have had the Top 4 pick in the draft seven times since 1998, and all they have to show for it is Rose.

Something tells me the Bulls are going to end up with the wrong coach and no big-name free agent. I sure hope not, but ... I really don't think LeBron James will come to Chicago and fight the comparisons to MJ. It's New York, L.A. or stay put for the King.
A league source tells me that Dwyane Wade told a former Marquette teammate that he doesn't want to play in Chicago. I'm sure money could change his mind, but he seems content in Miami. And, I'm not sure his offensive game would blend with Rose, anyway; their styles are too similar.
That pretty much leaves Chris Bosh as the only hope to take the Bulls to the next level. Bosh would definitely make them a 50-plus win team and likely catapult them into the league's elite. But will he buy into the Bulls' vision?
Maybe the Bulls do have a plan. Maybe they really do have a coach in mind who WILL be better than Skiles or Del Negro. And, maybe they will land a free agent better than Ron Mercer.
But I have a hard time believing it.
So Dan Cahill is all negative. But I will stay positive.
I'm not sure who should coach the Bulls next season.
As for free agents...
I think that Wade stays in Miami is sure for about 99.5%.
Mmh...Bosh. I'm not sure that he will be the right fit for the Bulls on this position. Perhaps an opt-out Dirk or Lee would be the better choice.
LeBron? I could understand if he stay put, but I could't understand why he wants to be Knick.
Going to LA would be very bad for the other 29 NBA teams.
If James really wants to show how good he is, then his choice can only be Cleveland or Chicago.
Rose would be a way better sidekick to LeBron then Kobe.
So let us hope for the best.
