Joe Smith, feelings anyone??

According to hoopshype.com: "League sources confirmed the Bulls reached agreement on a two-year contract with Joe Smith late Friday, the veteran forward who had been their No. 1 target in free agency."

I think this can be a decent pick up depending on how well he plays inside they key. He has a very good jump shot but if he can't score in the middle and back down a defender near the hoop, then that leaves our team right where we ended last year.

He's way out of his prime. I highly doubt he can be effective enough to help us considerably. Maybe he'll be good trade bait.

I think Chris Mihm would've helped more. He has a nice post game, but Joe Smith is a solid addition. Cant complain. At least he has an offensive game/jumpshot. Moore wouldnt have helped in that department and we already have 3 guys with similar games (TT, Ben, Noah).

He was wooed with a starting spot - are you guys comfortable with that, not sure about it.

He's likely PJ's replacement, he can give us more than he did. Basically agree with what nameant said.

I think he can help. More help then from Brown last year I think.
