Jordan's Hall of Fame Speech

At one point near the beginning of Jordan's speech of 21 minutes and 30 seconds, he asked those listening, "What is it about me that you don't know?" He proceeded to give us the answer in detail -- unfortunately.

On top of dredging up every slight from his playing days and crying over those days being behind him, he tells his kids that being his kids is a burden.

Who says that to his own kids?

Being a great player and a great person are definitely two different things.

Perhaps someone who will prepare his own kids for things to come.

I don't know for sure. I don't watch or hear the speech from Jordan. I think that being his kids is surely a burden for them. Especially when they playing basketball. Many would expect more from them, even unwittingly.

Please don't overvalue this sentence.

Maybe Jordan was preparing his kids, but did it have to be in public?

His acceptance speech went the whole range from classy to clownish.
