Mikki Attracting Interest
With Nets apparently limiting their interest in Mikki Moore to three years and about $10 million, other teams have started calling Moore's agent, Mark Bartlestein. The NBA's regular season leader in field goal percentage has reportedly gotten interest from Golden State, Utah, Houston, Dallas, Chicago and Memphis. Moore has said he would take less money to stay with the Nets who gave him his first real opportunity in a 10 year NBA career.

Think Malik Allen. More hustle, non existent offensive game. Only reason he looked good in New Jersey was because of Kidd.

Yup. That was a big part of it. I mean, Kidd DID make KMart an all-star. This guy is a nice player but isnt what we need. We have Ben, TT, and Noah. All similar to Mikki.

Add New Jersey’s Mikki Moore to the list of free-agent big men who will visit the Bulls.

Moore is expected to stop by the Berto Center today, while Philadelphia’s Joe Smith met with the Bulls on Thursday, and the Los Angeles Lakers’ Chris Mihm is scheduled for Saturday.

[...]

The 6-foot-10 Smith, who turns 32 later this month, is attractive to the Bulls because he’s a respected veteran who could bring leadership to the locker room if P.J. Brown retires or doesn’t re-sign with the Bulls.
