September 7, 2007 -- The Nets are about to add more size and experience up front by signing 6-10 free agent forward Malik Allen. The six-season veteran will sign a one-year non-guaranteed contract today.

So the Bulls lost Allen. Will we have a replacement for him? And do we need a replacement?

I really liked that guy. He was solid, all-around. The Bulls haven't made any moves this offseason. We've lost Allen and PJ. :man5: Both big men with a nice shooting touch. Now what?

That is the question. Now what?

Perhaps something bigger in the waiting? I don't know.

I think Smith is a good replacement for Brown. But we need also a replacement for Allen.

I will miss Allen more then Brown.
