But that rejection paled in comparison to the dejection Noah portrayed afterward, when he painstakingly detailed his frustration with the plantar fasciitis in his left foot.
"I don't think the foot is going to be 100 percent for the rest of the season," Noah said bluntly.

"I have to find a way to play through it, but I don't really know what to do," Noah said. "My foot is feeling better than it did three weeks ago. But it's still not 100 percent. They told me before I started playing that they were going to play me 10 minutes a game and see how it feels. It's feeling OK.
"They don't want to push it too much right now and I have to sit for another three or four weeks. They want me to be ready for when it really counts."
Of course, with such a fickle injury, there is no guarantee when Noah will be fully healthy. The only known cure for plantar fasciitis is total rest.
Perhaps they should give him some more rest.
