Nocioni Agrees To Return; 5 years;38 million

Andres Nocioni has agreed to a five-year contract worth approximately $38 million, keeping the popular forward with the team that vowed to re-sign him.

The contract can't be signed until the free-agent moratorium ends July 11. But general manager John Paxson confirmed a deal is in place.

Sources told the Tribune that the contract includes a team option for a sixth season.

Earlier Friday, Paxson confirmed that the team was optimistic about their chances.

This is a fairly good signing, but I'd still like to see the Bulls package Noc, PJ Brown, Noah, next years 1st rounder, cash to Indy for a guy like Jermaine O'Neal.

good move for the bulls. only things is i know one of these guys are gonna be gone sooner or later. will the org really wanna really resign all of them?

Hinrich is already re-signed, he has a BYC coming up this year and is earning double digit millions. IIRC, he was signed before the season started.

Deng should get one, soon.

Gordon will probably be involved in a trade, I doubt he gets extended.

Tyrus & Thabo are left, we'll have to look out this season.
