The idea of Kobe Bryant coming to the Bulls might sound nice, but there's one big problem:

General manager John Paxson hasn't been in contact with the Los Angeles Lakers -- or any other teams -- about any substantial trade talk.

Paxson addressed a range of subjects with the media Monday, saying he believes there's little chance the Lakers will trade their superstar guard and that the Bulls are likely to keep the No. 9 pick in Thursday's draft.

Paxson said he has not talked with the Lakers, even though the Bulls reportedly are one of three teams for which Bryant would waive his no-trade clause.
