Game #15 - Bulls @ Grizzlies - Game Thread

How it happened: Playing without Derrick Rose (toe) the Bulls looked lifeless throughout most of the day. The team's defense, which had been so solid throughout the past week, looked terrible without its star. Rudy Gay and Mike Conley combined for 44 points. Marc Gasol added 19 points and 10 rebounds. The only good news on this night for the Bulls was that C.J. Watson returned for the first time in two weeks after rehabbing from a leaft elbow injury. Watson had 17 points in his return.

What it means: The Bulls looked awful without Rose. They couldn't get much going on the offensive end and looked lost on the floor most of the day. Thibodeau made the right move to sit Rose because it has been clear over the past few days that Rose is still hobbled by the injury. It will be interesting to see whether or not the veteran coach decides to play his star on Tuesday night given how poorly the Bulls played without him. While all the Bulls deserve blame after a performance like this, fans will surely take aim at Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah yet again. Neither played during the fourth quarter -- the fifth time that's happened this season. Noah scored just two points on the day. Boozer, who finished with 13 points, had just three points in the final three quarters.
