Game #02 - Post game review

This game was an utter embarrassment. An injured Stephen Curry absolutely destroys Derrick Rose, with his flashy passing and high octane scoring. During the first half, Golden State already had 10 steals! That's ridiculous! Tommy Thibs was fuming the entire game. Derrick Rose had a quiet game, but that's not relevant - locked down to a minuscule 13 points, his ball distribution was sufficient with 8 assists. Boozer had no idea what he was doing. David Lee exploded for 22 points, while Boozer only racked up 6!

Richard Hamilton was a semi-bright spot for the team. 10 points, still less then average, but better then the LA game. Deng exploded for 22 points, made a three I believe. Derrick Rose screwed up badly, he shot 1-8, 1-8 from deep! :man6: That's just wrong.

And the Bulls had more turnovers in the first half then in the complete game vs the Lakers.

Rose thinks it could help if he shoots more...

Bulls point guard believes he needs to shoot more to get team going

SAN FRANCISCO — Derrick Rose always will have Nov. 21, 2008, to remember with fondness.

In his first trip to Oracle Arena, Rose had 25 points and five assists in the Bulls' 115-110 victory over the Warriors, his only triumph in four career games in the Bay Area.

[...]

"In the first quarter I have to establish myself a little more," Rose said. "I see that being laid-back is just not doing it. I think both games in the first quarter I shot the ball just one or two times. So next game, I have to change it up."

Rose is 1-for-4 in the first quarters of the first two games. More alarming, he has attempted just four free throws in the first two games and went the first six quarters without going to the line once.

"I have to push the ball, get to the rim, be more aggressive," Rose said. "We tend to slow the ball down a little bit, getting a feel for how we're playing. I really haven't caught on to it yet."
Rose: "I want to be that guy. I want to be the reason why the Bulls are back to what they were [during the Michael Jordan era]."

Thibs wants Rose to be more aggressive. To attack the basket more. Getting FTs.

I think that this is the plan.

That's fine. He can make free throws easily, however his outside jumper is very unpredictable.
