It was a good Western Conference road trip for the Bulls, who ended 4-3 and return to the United Center Tuesday to honor longtime broadcaster Johnny Kerr and face the Detroit Pistons at 22-29.

But it's now a better team than its record. Or at least a team playing better than it's record, but not getting enough out of it quite yet.

"We should have won," said Bulls coach Vinny Del Negro. "We had opportunities. We had some mistakes, too many turnovers. We had been doing a better job. You can't give up a three at the end, and we have to convert on the offensive end when we have opportunities. It's a tough one to swallow."

This is right. This OT loss is a tough one, but the Bulls had a good road trip with 4-3. Ok, two wins against Clippers and Kings, but the Bulls already showed us that they can lose such games (T'wolves?! Thunder?!)

Rose started good into february with 18.3 pts, 7.3 ast and shooting above .510. The three february games from Thomas are really good, his averages 17.3 pts, 11.7 reb, 2.33 blk, 1.30 stls.
