Update: The Chicago Bulls blog speculates that Miller, who was benched along with John Salmons by head coach Vinny Del Negro to start the second half in the Bulls’ 88-81 loss to the Knicks Tuesday, could possibly be traded to Portland to replace the injured Joel Pryzbilla.
Recommendation: On the floor, Miller, who put up another 0-fer Tuesday, though in just 13 minutes with three shots, now has made just one shot in the last four games and is 1-for-15 in that stretch in 79 minutes played. With Tyrus Thomas on the verge of coming back and Taj Gibson along with James Johnson available to play the four, Miller’s time should and is likely limited. Portland is now without Pyyzbilla and Greg Oden and will need to acquire a big man, which could be Miller or Samuel Dalenbert, possibly for the expiring contracts of Steve Blake and Travis Outlaw.
Miller for Blake and Outlaw doesn't work as a trade.
I don't see a trade with Portland, because I don't see the Bulls taking long-term contracts back.
