Although he’s only averaging 1.6 points and 1.0 rebounds in 7.1 minutes, Ely showed last season what he’s capable of. He started 22 games for Charlotte and averaged 9.8 points and 4.8 rebounds.[...]
“It’s extremely frustrating,” Ely said. “Playing well last year to not playing at all is always frustrating. You got to keep focused, keep the goal in hand. If it’s not here, it’s some place else.”
This sounds like he would like to play for the Bulls.

Is it possible that he can help us? He can't be traded until january 2nd. Or perhaps he is an option in the offseason. His contract ends after this season.
