Kobe To Chicago?

Kobe To Chicago?

Postby Nissan on Fri Oct 12, 2007 11:36 am

I don't want Kobe to get traded but if we had to trade Kobe... I would like the Lakers to make a trade with Chicago.

Bulls Trade: Deng, Hinrich, Noah, Thabo, Future 1st round pick

Lakers Trade: Kobe and Brian Cook
Do it Paxton. :jam2:

I don't think that this is realistic.

No Deng & Hinrich.

Perhaps Gordon, Nocioni, Thabo

I don't see the Lakers trading Kobe to Chicago without the Bulls trading Deng. Deng would have to be in any trade talks.

But sure not Deng & Hinrich.

I don't even expect Deng, so I think no Bryant to Chicago trade will happen.

Love Luol, but replacing Luol with Kobe makes the Bulls LEGIT title contenders. I'd trade Luol, but not Luol AND Kirk.

Forget Plan A, go get Kobe
Paxson, Skiles have Bulls on a nice growth track, but to move up to banner level, they need a megastar, and Lakers' Bryant is available

Kobe Bryant is available. And he wants to come to Chicago.

Go get him, boy.

Bulls would add risk in Bryant deal
Sam Smith
October 14, 2007

Even I don't have the answer for this one.

And we all know how rare that is.

Figure this is what it takes to get Kobe Bryant from the Lakers: Luol Deng, Kirk Hinrich, a first-round draft pick and either Tyrus Thomas or Joakim Noah.

That would leave the Bulls with a starting lineup of something like Bryant, Ben Gordon, Andres Nocioni, Ben Wallace and Noah/Thomas/Joe Smith.

Good enough to win a championship?

Kobe would make Isiah look good in Garden

The latest word out of the Kobe camp, in the wake of Jerry Buss' good-riddance interview this past week, is that the Knicks are no longer on his wish list. The Bulls are (for an obvious reason that used to wear No. 23), and the Mavericks are making a strong push.

Knicks nowhere near landing Kobe Bryant

BY MITCH LAWRENCE
Sunday, October 14th 2007

Chicago is in a win-now mode with Ben Wallace slowing down and is said to be willing to break up its team for the kind of dynamic player they have not had since Michael Jordan. But as of now, the Bulls won't put Luol Deng in any deal, sources say. Still, they can offer Ben Gordon, Andres Nocioni, Tyrus Thomas and their No. 1 pick last June, Joakim Noah. That would allow the Bulls to put Bryant on the floor with Deng, Kirk Hinrich, Ben Wallace and Joe Smith.

"That team could win the East and get to the Finals,'' said the Eastern Conference executive.

Yes. Exact what you have said. But I say no trade with Deng and Hinrich. No way.

What about Kobe for Viktor Khryapa. Something tells me this would be a bit much for the Bulls to give up, but I think I'd be willing to see it go down.

well now according to what someone posted on clublakers that the lakers offered bryant for noah, tt, gordon, and nocioni and possibly and first rounder. i think that would be hard for the bulls to give up those 4. however, if a trade like that was possible and not have to give up deng OR hinrich, paxsonmust have to seriously consider it. as i've said before i am not a ben gordon fan so if we got to keep hinrich and deng plus adding bryant (also a person i am not a fan of) it would still be hard to resist
