Webber on hold: The Bulls put in a call to Chris Webber’s agent, but don’t think they can promise him the playing time he’s looking for.
For now, Detroit and Miami appear to be the leading candidates to sign the veteran power forward, who was officially waived by Philadelphia on Thursday. Webber has also said he’d consider Dallas, San Antonio and the Los Angeles Lakers.
IMO it is good that the Bulls aren't among the leading candidates. We need a younger, more athletic PF playing with Ben Wallace.

Webber leaving Sixers: Veteran power forward Chris Webber may be on the market soon. The Philadelphia Daily News reported that Webber and the 76ers have reached a buyout agreement.
Webber, 33, wouldn’t seem to fit the Bulls’ defensive style of play, but they do lack an inside scorer and Webber has a history with Ben Wallace and coach Scott Skiles.
Late in his career, Skiles spent the 1994-95 season playing with Webber on the Washington Bullets, while Wallace was a Washington teammate from 1996-99.
“It’s definitely something to think about,” Wallace said. “I’d love to see him here. But what does that mean? Not a whole lot.”
What do you think is he worth a try? I say No!
