Who would you give up for AI?

apparently Chicago & Boston are the frontrunners (right now). Boston seems more likely to me. they're flat out terrible, with no signs of improvement. they're also loaded with young talent. Chicago is headed the other direction and has a solid core of young players. just for fun though...who would you be willing to part with from the core?

Kirk - absolutely not
Deng - no
Noc - no
Gordon - in a heartbeat

the big thing is $$$$$. PJ would certainly have to be included, as well as NYs pick. Chicago is already small, that makes them that much smaller. this is why I dont see it happening. we dont have the pieces and I doubt management wants to break up what we have.

No one I wouldn't trade for A.I. nor would he do well in Chicago, Skiles is too authortarian for him.

No.

I wouldn't trade for Iverson. No way. Not possible.

If the Bulls are really searching an all-star player, then better go for Garnet without including Deng in a trade.

So Bulls don't want Iverson. Good.

Chicago is not in the hunt, despite having all the pieces – Kevin Garnett is their man, and if they end up with the top pick this summer via New York, they may get him…

I think if the Bulls end up with the top pick, they should pick Greg Oden and don't make a trade for Garnett.

If they take Oden, then trade him, they want to win now. Thanks for sharing that.

Bulls quiet on Al: A few out-of-town reports had the Bulls possibly open to trading for Philadelphia’s Allen Iverson. But coach Scott Skiles confirmed what was written in the local newspapers — that the Bulls have no interest in adding a player famous for his aversion to practice.

“I know we’re not a team that’s in there talking about it, contrary to a couple reports I’ve read,” Skiles said before Monday’s game.

So no Iverson in Bulls uniform. Good so.

The Bulls are one team that is definitely not involved in trade talks for Allen Iverson. General manager John Paxson said Monday he has no interest in trying to deal for the disgruntled Philadelphia 76ers superstar, a sentiment echoed by coach Scott Skiles.
