ESPN.com's trade machine would work very nicely if you guys are trying to figure out salries, years left on contract and all that stuff.

Interesting article on the Bulls lack of trades at the deadline from the Sports Guy, (Bill Simmons) :

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/bl ... me=simmons

If your too lazy to read it, he basically talks about how the Bulls should have traded Thomas, Deng, and the 1st rounder from the Knicks for Gasol. He would then want us too trade Gasol as the centerpiece for either J.O. or KG or trade him to the C's for Al Jefferson, Theo Ratliff's expiring contract, and a future 1st rounder.

In a couple of email's he posts, one of the fans thinks the Bulls should have traded Thomas for Sean May straight up. Their reasoning is that while Thomas might have the higher ceiling, Sean May has the better post game and is the more classic PF.

Bobcats wouldn't do it. They are in need of big men not more swingmen.

That's a tough one. The Bobcats do have Sean May and Brezec, and if they get an early pick then can get Julian Wright or Greg Oden, so if they're able to get one of them, then they may be willing to trade one of their big men, although they'd probably rather trade Brezec, then May, then Okafor.
