back to the old leather ball

In a surprising reversal, the NBA is going back to the old leather basketball for the remainder of the 2006-07 season as of Jan. 1.

For me this reversal is very inconsistent and a little bit stupid. It is always not a good sign to introduce a new rule or here a new ball and then, not 2 months later, revise the decision because some players don't like it.
All play with the new ball...they should only acclimatized to the new ball.

Very dumb move. Players are getting used to this ball.
