MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut is out indefinitely after fracturing his left ankle Wednesday night in Houston.

It's another injury setback for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2005 draft. The Bucks play the Bulls on Friday at the United Center.

Bogut's left foot came down awkwardly on a Houston player's foot after Bogut tried to block a shot in the first quarter. The Bucks said Thursday an MRI found Bogut fractured his ankle.

“I will get back from this,” Bogut posted on his Twitter account Thursday night. “Injury was beyond my control.”

Bad news for Bogut.

The statement ' "Injury was beyond my control" ' has no meaning to me. It's unfortunate that Bogut has to suffer through these injuries. At his best, he can be a top 10 center. But as of late, he's becoming a benchwarmer.

The Bucks truely have great potential, but they need Bogut to be healthy in order for them to reach that potential. That and Brandon Jennings maturing. But thats another story.

I didn't see Bogut a benchwarmer when he is 100% healthy. He already showed better.

I think they should sign another big via free agency, then have Bogut play on the bench.
