I couldn't agree more. Stern would actually be in favor of this because the tournament Bill Simmons is talking about would be great for marketing and would get some great ticket sales. He is also absolutely right about give the top 12 teams a couple weeks of rest.
Not a horrible idea, but what would that mean for teams who don't actually have their own pick the next year, like would the Knicks just tank in the tournament, or would the Bulls play for them?
